Sonesta Select Milwaukee Brookfield

I stayed because it was supposed to be a pet friendly hotel. When I made the reservation there was no mention of a fee, when I checked in, I told the front desk staff that I had my dogs with me. There was no mention of a fee. They told me about a $75.00 deposit not the pet fee. I check my bank statement, they took out $101.25 for a pet fee! Said I signed when I first checked in. You know, the paper that ask for your plate info, address, I didn't check a box stating I had pets. I went to the front desk 3xs that night. The front desk staff never told me of a fee. So, in total they took $176.25 out of my account! I had already paid for the room through Expedia. Not happy! The room was dirty, I had to go down literally daily to have my room key to allow me in my room. Then when I saw my bank statement, saw the fee. I contacted the manager, as she then blamed me for not being able to fix my lock due to my dogs. However, nobody told me maintenance would be there, I had just stepped out for a minute. They never tried to reach me over it, or move my room. Just told me it was all on me. Read the small print!! Don't expect any kindness to be given. They say they offer a breakfast for a fee! I went down twice and there was nothing available. The bed was hard. I'll know better next time!
